Now known as StalyVegas - the town centre has become the place to be during an evening at the weekend .  Even a local radio station visited the town one weekend with £2000 to spend in the local pubs.  This page is a personal look at the public houses situated within the area of the town centre, which visitors to the town may wish to visit. Not all pubs are mentioned and this is by no means any detriment to these establishments - just limitations of time and space!   I need to redo this page frequently so buy me a pint and we can discuss it :o)

The Q Bar - usually the second port of call for visitors arriving by train.  The first being the award winning Buffet Bar on the platform!

So here's just a mention of the other pubs situated in and around Stalybridge. On Market Street, near to The Q Bar and The Pavillion Bar are The Fleece, The Rose and Crown and The White House.   Up the old fire station steps adjacent to the bus station is the Stamford Arms. Then into the centre of town on Melbourne Street are numerous social Clubs and Pubs. I should also mention that there is a small friendly Buffet Bar situated at the Train Station.
