                          Be SMART!

S = SECRET

Always keep your personal details private. These include your name, address, mobile phone number, the name of your school and your password - it's like giving out the keys to your home! Only give out your email address to family and friends approved by your parents / carers.

M = MEETING

Someone you have contacted on the internet can be dangerous. Only do so with your parent's/carer's permission, and then when they can be present

A = ACCEPTING

Emails or opening files from people you don't really know or trust can get you into trouble - they may contain computer viruses or nasty messages.

R = REMEMBER

Someone online may be lying and not be who they say they are. If someone says something that makes you uncomfortable simply stop responding to their messages.

T = TELL

Tell your parent or carer,  if someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable or worried and remember you can report bad stuff to teachers too.

If you would let me know of any websites you think should be included in this list kids  - just email me by clicking the email symbol at the top of the page and I will include them.  Thanks.
